Welcome to the Church of the Good Shepherd!

We want your visit with us to be a special time of worshipping the Lord, receiving encouragement to help in your daily life, and enjoying fellowship with others. You are invited to be encouraged and receive ministry during the Sunday morning worship service, Sunday School classes, Wednesday night classes for all ages, Saturday evening worship service, small group Bible studies, special seminars, retreats, and camp experiences.

Family Night Resumes January 4

Just a reminder that regular Family Night activities resume on Wednesday, January 4, 2012. See you at the church in Wayne!

2011 Christmas Program

The CGS children performed "Back to the Manger" on December 18th. After the program, everyone was invited to stay for a free baked steak dinner. Thank you to all the children and adults for their efforts with this year's Christmas program outreach!

New Church Van

The church recently purchased a new van.

Pemberville Fair

CGS was excited this year to increase our participation at the Pemberville Fair. For the first time, we entered the Grand Parade with our church bus. We had a great time throwing out candy to all the children and talking with many community members. As in years past, we also provided balloons and a puppet show to fair-goers throughout the week at our church tent. Several children also sang and danced to worship songs during the puppet team's breaks. We had a great time at this year's Pemberville Fair!

Father's Day 2011

Resurrection Sunday 2011

The children joined the adult service to celebrate our Lord's Resurrection day. With flags, streamers, and songs we proclaimed that He is alive and that He holds the power over sin and death. Alleluia!

New Service Times

Beginning March 13th, our Sunday morning schedule will change to the following:
     9:30 a.m.   Life Groups/Sunday School
     10:30 a.m. Worship Service
Starting Wednesday, March 16th, at 7:00 p.m. we will begin holding a worship service for adults during Family Night.
